Melissa is one of the early Basic Jumping Diploma graduates in Singapore, and she has been teaching Jumping Fitness since 2017. She is gregarious, out-going, and always has a contagious smile on her face. Besides jumping, she also runs, cycles, and engages in outdoor and sea sports. Melissa adopts a holistic approach to fitness. It is her way of life and not something she has to do. Eating well, exercising, dealing with stress, and getting things done are all integral to her lifestyle. Melissa believes that only by building sustainable habits, can we achieve total wellbeing.
Melissa’s jumping classes are fun yet serious. Strength training, body toning, and cardio exercises are essential elements in her classes. She focuses on imparting correct techniques and believes in motivating and pushing the limit in her class.
“Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.” ~ Jim Ryin
While Melissa enjoys her role in an international hotel as a vibrant Sales & Marketing department manager, work can be stressful and demanding. So happiness is picking up the workout bag and heading to the jumping studio after a full day in the office. Melissa finds that jumping gives her a high and helps her to de-stress. In addition, it promotes a sense of calm and optimism that supports her mental wellbeing. Melissa finds that she is more creative and resilient at work when she is optimally fit and healthy.
Melissa conducts classes at Peninsula and Far East Studios. If you haven’t done so, please download our app, Jumping Singapore, to make a reservation with Melissa.
