With more than eight years of experience teaching group fitness, Irene Kang is among our first-generation pioneer instructors who were instrumental in the initial setup of Jumping Singapore. Irene Kang is loved by many for her contagious energy and gregarious personality. She is also a people lover and a women’s health advocate.

Irene takes time to connect with her jumpers, often sharing her own life stories to encourage them to take care of themselves through exercise and nutrition. Her classes are dynamic, effective, fun, and always fill with laughter. She is often funny and wants everyone to have a good time while working out.

Irene is a stage 3A breast cancer survivor. She recalls that she “suffered a lot physically and mentally” during her battle with cancer more than ten years ago. However, after a protracted period of treatment which included surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, Irene radically changed her lifestyle to heal and rebuild her health. She began to eat healthily, exercise & live every moment as a second chance from God. She even became a fitness instructor. Those profound, life-threatening experiences are now things of the past, and she has bounced back stronger, healthier, and happier. Irene recommends jumping fitness as an effective preventive measure against cancers. It is the only exercise that significantly enhances lymphatic circulation to help the body eliminate toxins. At the same time, it stimulates the production of lymphocytes to boost the body’s immunity against infections and cancers.
